In cooperation with our suppliers, we continuously improve the quality and safety level of our products and strive for a supply chain that fulfills our requirements in our supplier Code of Conduct.

In our experience, suppliers who score well on sustainability, also score high on quality.

• 4.2 Safety first

  At AMC Instruments, we always put safety first and our workplace should contribute positively on our colleagues´ wellbeing. All people involved in our business should be safe when being at work and our view of safety includes both physical as well as mental health.

• 4.3 Good to work with

  One of our core values is to be Good to work with – both externally and internally. Our Code of Ethics is a guideline for ethical sound behavior for all employees. It is an extension of our core values, a simple map to what the company expects from us in various contexts of our everyday work.

  To ensure that our employees comply with our values and policies, there is a group-wide whistleblower service, managed by an external party. We urge all employees and partners to tell us about any actions that go against what we stand for as a company – it creates security and helps us achieve a good corporate culture.

• 4.4 We minimize waste and see all waste as a resource

  As part of our sustainability strategy, we want to reduce our waste as much as we possibly can. The long-term target is to have zero waste going to landfill or incineration.

We put our pride in offering safe products and services to meet the customers´ quality expectations and to improve their sustainability performance.

• 5.1 Safe products that last

  With our Non destructive testing KnowHow, we guide our customers to choose the most suitable product for the application. The customers can feel comfortable that they are offered safe products with the right level of quality, enabling smooth and secure operations.

  We also see our responsibility in extending the products lifetimes and therefore we offer a wide range of services. As an example, we assist customers to make a correct judgement if it’s time to exchange the products or not – both in terms of safety and sustainability.

  When a wire rope is replaced before reaching the discard criteria, waste and CO₂ emissions increase due to the production of new ropes. By using AMC’s MRT equipment, it is possible to extend the lifespan of wire ropes used in various industries.
